The groundbreaking ceremony for Phase II was held in May.  The Fort Thomas Education Foundation presented a check for $750,000 to begin the renovation of Highlands High School.   Laura Hinegardner, the capital campaign coordinator, is working hard to continue the fundraising needed to complete this project.   The south building (or 'old middle school'), is being renovated to modern standards.
